U.S. Department of Commerce - GDP

The U.S. Department of Commerce reported today on the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) numbers indicating that the U.S economy grew at an unexpected annual rate of 4.1 percent, higher than the 3.6 percent reporter earlier this month and the fastest rate of growth in two years.
These numbers are higher than economist had expected and a strong sign that our economy continues to heal. Business spending also increased higher than the 3.5% reported earlier this month to 4.8%. Overall these numbers suggests that our economy will continue to grow in 2014 boosting the manufacturing, transportation and distribution sectors.
